Chuck and I had been trying since about mid-July to have a family outing to the beach. Every weekend when we would make plans to go, it seemed like it was either raining, too hot, or something would come up. Addison and I had been a couple times by ourselves, but we FINALLY managed to get Chuck there with us after we came back from our trip. We weren't there very long before a thunderstorm came in, but we did have some time out there as a family and had lots of fun. I think Chuck likes having a "reason" - aka Addison - to build sand castles and play in the sand...
