In a holding pattern...

Right now Addison and I are supposed to be on the road on the way to Orlando! The plan was to drive over with the Arkema's and meet Chuck and Dan because they were flying the jets over. (This whole trip is stemming from them having to take two jets over to Lakeland for the airshow this weekend. The jets are to be used for the demo team.) Now, the weather is bad not only here, but also there as well. The boys can't get take off out of here for now, but should be able to later. But Orlando/Lakeland is currently under a tornado warning and later in the day isn't looking so promising. UGH! I have one upset little girl! The phone is going crazy with Chuck calling every few minutes keeping us in the loop. It is the standard we are going, we aren't going, we are going, now we aren't. The jets HAVE to get there at some point before Saturday so worst case scenario is that the boys won't get there until tomorrow.

Currently, Kristin and I are still going today - getting a later start than planned, but still going. If the guys do make it over today, they won't get there until after 4 anyway. Not sure what she and I will do with the kids today if the guys aren't there and it's raining - pretty much rules out taking them to the pool to kill time. Major kink in the plans, but still hoping it will all work out in the end.

Since we bought a four day pass, we were planning on going tonight, tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday to get our four days in. However with the change of plans, Kristin and I may take the kids to a "low" key, easy park together on Monday. I feel like we paid for four days and we HAVE to use all four. Oh, how I do not like plans changing like this! It makes me jumpy and apprehensive - not to mention my child does not understand what is going on. Only that she was supposed to see Mickey today and now we are just sitting around the house. How do I explain this to her? Hoping she will chill out when we get in the car!

Wish us luck!!!
